​My name is Jen and I have been a dog behaviour professional for over 10 years, after changing my career pathway from human psychology to dog psychology.  The honesty our dogs hold and their courage to show up every single day doing the best they can is something that inspires me and gives me a drive to help us humans be the best for them too. 

My approach to “reactivity” may seem a little different to how other professionals may work because I feel many dog owners have been left struggling with other approaches.  My professional presence is very hands on, and I actively offer sessions week after week building up to the scenarios your dog struggles with.  I feel this offers more intense support not just for the dog, but the human end of the lead as well.  I am fully aware that it is the human end that also carries the weight of complex behavioural needs in our dogs.  I aim to emphasise this more than ever with the services I offer. 

I am a fully qualified (level 6) behaviour specialist who has been working primarily with what society deems as “reactive dogs” for the majority of my working life.  As well as this I enjoy working with puppies, particularly around socialisation needs and life skills such as confidence, resilience and forming healthy attachments to caregivers.

OUR SERVICES

We offer basic training for dogs of all ages such as loose lead walking and recall. We also hold puppy socialisation walks with true socialisation at heart. Behaviour Consultations concerning anxieties and aggressive demonstrations are also available.

ReactivE Dogs

We specialise in reactive dogs - or more to the point seemingly "over-reactive" dogs - those who bark/lunge or otherwise present aggressive behaviour presentations at the sight of other dogs, people or other triggers. Reactivity may be due to fear or other emotions.

DOG WALKING

We offer a professional, reliable and trustworthy dog walking service for all social dogs, as well as those dogs who need a bit more management and care as a result of ongoing anxieties or fears. We can help your dog make friends in a safe controlled way. 

WEBINARS
